Reporting a Calculator Error

If a calculator produces a result that does not match its stated worked example, or if you believe the formula or methodology is incorrect, please include:

  • The name of the calculator and its URL.
  • The input values you entered.
  • The result you received.
  • The result you expected and why.

This information helps us reproduce and verify the issue quickly. Accuracy is the foundation of the site, so we take error reports seriously.

Suggesting a Calculator

If there is a calculation you use regularly and cannot find a well-documented tool for, let us know. Describe what the calculator should do and what formula it should use if you know it. We evaluate suggestions based on how broadly useful the tool would be and whether we can document it with the same formula transparency we apply to existing tools.
